Ōshikōchi no Mitsune

From My wiki

大河内躬恒(おおしこうちのみつね) (late 9th–early 10th c).

He held a number of provincial governorships and was never granted a high court rank. But he gained great recognition as a poet. He participated in many early poetry contests, was one of the compilers of the KKS, and continued to write poems for contests and screen paintings. He is represented by a large number of poems in the Imperial collections.
