Ōe no Chisato

From My wiki

大江千里(おおえのちさと)(?-early 10th century).

He never attained a particularly high rank, but seems to have garnered high esteem as a poet. He participated in a number of poetry compositions and was commissioned by Emperor Uda to write the Kudai waka, a series of Japanese poems responding to (or "translating") Chinese lines of verse.
