Sosei

そせいほうし 素性法師 (?–early 900s).

The son of Bishop Henjō and a major poet of the KKS. He was active in poetic circles around Emperor Uda, and he is a significant transitional figure between the "Six immortals" era and the era of the compilers. The poetry collections ascribed to him seem to be later compilations that include some inauthentic attributions.
