水のほとりに梅の花咲けりけるをよめる

Read on plum flowers blooming at the edge of water.

春ごとに流るる川を花とみて折られぬ水に袖やぬれなん

haru goto ni
nagaruru kawa wo
hana to mi-te
ora-re-nu mizu ni
sode ya nure-na-mu

Every spring The flowing river I see as flowers And in the unpickable water Shall I wet my sleeves?
